This will not be an outfit post, instead I'm taking the time to explain what's been going on with me. I made this decision to share because it will be therapeutic for me. For the past few months I've felt like I
So here it goes...
At the age of 15 or 16 I was diagnosed with Depression, in order for me to function "normally" I had to take medication. You might wonder how someone could be diagnosed as such a young age, but believe me it can happen. Let's fast track a few years, at the age of 24 I decided to get off the medicine. I mean I felt like I didn't need it. After all, I was doing well (because of the meds) and didn't think I needed it. I did fine without it, I even managed to graduate college without being on my medication. I landed my dream job as well.
When hell started to break lose...
I began working in January and everything was fine, well at least I thought it was. In February I started slipping showing up to work late, not finishing tasks, etc.I knew something was wrong, but I didn't want to admit it. I told my parents that I needed to be admitted to the hospital because I was in trouble. My mother took me to hospital and I was properly treated for Depression with the help of new medication. I used to be embarrassed to tell anyone that I suffered from Depression. Instead, now I view it as a chance to educate someone that may not know about Depression.
Due to me being in the Hospital I lost my job that I blogged about several months ago. It hurt me so much that they would let me go for something so serious as hospitalization. However, I know God has a perfect plan me and know that HIS will, will be done.
As of now, I am trying to get back on track with life and also looking for a new job as well.
So that's it...that's what has been going on with me. I would like to thank all of my Blogger Friends for supporting me in my decision to explain my current circumstances. I love each and every one of you.
Also, I'll be taking a mini vacation from the blog. However, you can reach me via Email at firstname.lastname@example.org, Twitter at CCandCurvy and Instagram at CheapChicandCurvy. Thank you so much for understanding my need for a break.
Talk to you guys soon!
